With over 12 years of career development expertise in Recruitment/Staffing, Workforce Development, and facilitation of career workshops, Alfreda has gained recognition as the “Go-To Guru of employment” to young and old alike.

Her background includes knowledge of Labor Market Information, Unemployment Policies, and Workforce Development procedures gained from employment with the Georgia Department of Labor.  She is also a facilitator of Career Concepts training workshops with at-risk youth enrollees and graduates of the National Job Corps career training program. She also provides management training in Leadership, work ethics and etiquette and is certified as a Professional Résumé Writer from the Professional Association of Résumé Writers. In addition to this Alfreda is recognized in the State of Georgia and nationally as the Go-To-Guru of employment strategies.

Alfreda has conducted Business Etiquette and Employer Expectations workshops with various business classes at College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, GA and Re-Entry workshops with the City of Brunswick Weed and Seed Initiative. She has participated with the “Choices” career development presentation series offered to local middle school students annually within Glynn County and most recently, has been a partner and Co-Facilitator with Youth Development and career training with the National Youth on the M.O.V.E (Motivated to Obtain Valuable Employment) training program out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Perfectly Suited Career Consulting was started in 2008 as a Work from Home endeavor, assisting clients with Résumé critique and creation, Manuscript editing, transcribing and local career workshops and Hiring events. We assist today’s Job seeker with Career development tools such as Career assessments, Interview Coaching, Résumé packages from Entry Level to Executive and Leadership/Motivation and Customizable Professional Development Training workshops for schools, church groups and other non-profit organizations.

Alfreda currently resides in Jacksonville, FL, serving as the Corporate  Recruiter for Amerihealth Caritas Family of Companies. She was the former President of Women for Excellent Communities, Government and Schools, a local organization in Brunswick, Georgia catering to civic and community issues and needs. She is an active member of many workforce organizations including Downtown Business Professionals Group in Jacksonville, FL, International Association of Workforce Professionals, Southern Employment and Training Association, Duval Workforce Investment Board and its Youth Council and the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals, Jacksonville Chamber-Health Council and active volunteer with the City of Jacksonville- Mayor’s Council for the Status of Women. She is a current Member and participant of JAX Chamber/ JAX Bridges- Entrepreneurial Growth Initiative.
