Joan’s interactive approach as a speaker goes beyond being motivational. It brings lasting and trans-formative change to businesses, groups and individuals.  As a coach and motivational speaker Joan’s mission is to help people awaken to the possibilities in their personal and professional lives.  For over 10 years, Joan has been empowering and equipping people to embrace their true potential with a winning attitude, to get pass the roadblocks sabotaging their success, to be limitless, and to create a positive mindset.

Joan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, a Master’s degree in Social Work, and is currently pursuing her (DBA) Doctorate in Business Administration, with a focus on Management. Her work experiences have given her the opportunity to work collaboratively with health care professionals, criminal justice professionals, and in various capacities with youth and adults. Joan prides herself in teaching others how to become effective leaders, by focusing on various areas of leadership including: Attributes of Leadership, Principles of Leadership, Leading by Example, and Decision Making.

Joan is an approved Trainer for the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), an approved Trainer through Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Childcare Credentialing Branch, and an Advisor for the Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credentialing Program, and Success Coach at Transformational Leadership Academy.  Joan is a woman of integrity, a woman with relentless determination to help promote women-owned businesses.
