My journey with Yoga started in 2004, as complimentary training to my Martial Arts. I have taught Tang Soo Do for 11 years prior to teaching Yoga. Over the years Yoga has given my life a new meaning.  I became certified in teaching Vinyasa Yoga in 2011. I am registered with Yoga Alliance and have taught at numerous destinations throughout the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia area. Yoga has opened my eyes to a new world of possibilities in health and wellness.

I was working as a part-time Yoga Instructor up until June of 2015. I was laid off of my job in the Federal Government and I decided to take on the opportunity of going forward with my purpose. Delana’s Yoga Suite went into full swing. I now teach Yoga full-time, both in my studio and as a contractor. I have also included Yoga classes on Skype as one of my services. My goal is to get people into their Suite life. Their Suite life is living a life with decreased stress, while maintaining physical health. I want to offer a tool that improves our quality of life inside and out.
